Printed Petal Collection

I’ve always been a fan of arts and crafts. I have fond memories of rubber stamping, sewing felt dolls, painting - you name it. This project was fun for me because I got to create like a kid again.

The elements of these patterns were created using watercolor, graphite pencil, india ink, embroidery, and paper cut-outs. The elements were then scanned, digitized, and made into patterns. Flora and fauna are big sources of creative inspiration for me, so organic shapes and forms are central to this project.
