 TruAdopt is a nonprofit law firm that was created to fulfill a need in the adoption industry. Founder and Change-maker Celeste Liversidge had a vision to create a nonprofit law firm for women who decide to place their baby for adoption. Only 4% of women with unplanned pregnancies place their child for adoption. Though the population is small, she felt a big need. In her fifteen years in adoption law, she met countless young women going through an extremely painful yet meaningful process with minimal professional support. It’s widely known that adoptive parents need to work with an adoption professional, but widely unknown that women who place their child for adoption should have their own separate representation.      Enter/In comes TruAdopt, a nonprofit law firm with attorneys exclusively dedicated to the representation of birth parents.      TruAdopt’s audience is a younger female demographic (approximately ages 18-35, with a median age of 29). The challenge was to create a law-nonprofit hybrid with modern and trend-forward design.
